Do we take holidays ourselves?
We usually open all year round. However, this winter (2017-2018) we took a break in November in order to do some maintenance work on the cattery and to trim the bushes behind the buildings. We had planned to close from 10th January to 1st March 2018 to complete this work but fortunately we were able to get the majority of the noisy jobs completed in November. We still have work to do in January/February 2018 but this should not cause any inconvenience, as we will be able to work on one block at a time, keeping the other operating normally.
We welcome and actively encourage inspection of our cattery. However, please consider that our guests are our absolute priority so we would ask you to make an appointment in advance. The best time to call to see the cattery is 5pm and we can arrange this time for almost any day.
How to Book?
The first thing you need to do is to check availability on your chosen dates. You may email us here firstname.lastname@example.org to check or give us a call on 091 875 691.
Once we confirm that we have available suite you may download Booking Form here , complete it and email it to us.
Of course you would be very welcome to come to see the facilities at Cuddles prior to booking. Just contact us and we can arrange a mutually suitable time for you to call.
Useful information when transporting your cat to Cuddles
Please make sure your cat has not eaten for at least 2-3 hours before travelling. Many felines do not travel well and if they are ill they can become very stressed. It also helps a cat to settle if he or she eats shortly after coming into the cattery. We have found that it is not necessarily a good idea to fast your cat completely before coming here as many become suspicious when they realise they’re skipping breakfast!
What to Pack?
Vaccination Record Card – for the health and safety of all cats in the cattery, no cat can be admitted without full, current vaccinations. Please also see terms and conditions on our booking form.
A bed or blanket that your cat normally uses (unwashed). If your cat sleeps in a human’s bed, put a towel or blanket or rug underneath him or her for a few nights before boarding and bring that.
Any special food that you would like given to your cat during his/her stay.
Some favourite toys.
A scratching post (if your cat has one) or a favourite scratching mat.
A brush or comb if your cat has one. Remember to let us know if you cat does not like being brushed in a certain area!
Any other items that will fit into the pen and will make your pet feel more comfortable.
