Thank you for visiting this page. Cuddles Cattery closed down completely at the end of 2019. www.snuggleinncattery.ie has been set up in the same general area by previous customers of Cuddles Charlotte and Eddie Concannon (and Baby Boy and Baby Girl) using our buildings and equipment. I’m sure they’ll be happy to deal with any boarding enquiries you may have.

What some Cuddles’ customers have said:
Buttons is an older cat who strayed into our garden 10 years ago. She suffers from arthritis and is recently recovered from surgery. She has never stayed in a cattery before but I had no reservations in leaving her in Muriel’s care for the 10 days of our holidays. Muriel was very welcoming and the first thing I noticed was how clean the place was and how well all the other cats looked who were there on vacation. I loved the idea of the heater which is placed next to their bedding so it was warm and comfortable and I knew Buttons would love that. She was in great form when we collected her and looked very well cared for. I would have no hesitation in sending her there again and a huge thanks to Muriel for looking after her so well. It looks exactly as welcoming as it does on the website. Claudia McC. (Aug. 2016)
Cheeky is an outside cat and had never been to a cattery. We were very pleased with her when we returned after her first stay, she looked so well and was happy and content after her 2 week holiday! It was obvious that Muriel had looked after her very well; I am pleased to recommend Cuddles Cattery. Katherine C. (Aug. 2016)
I was sad when my old cat Pumpkin died of cancer last year, not least because I would miss her but I thought that I would miss Muriel. I imagined that I wouldn’t be visiting Cuddles anymore.
I found little Ducie in my uncle’s barn. She had been living there for 6 months after his death. She was so sweet that I had to take her home with me. I had her for a month when she made her first visit to Cuddles. I was a bit nervous as she had been an outdoors cat and I didn’t know how she would take to being inside the cattery for 10 days. I needn’t have worried, Muriel gave her a ping pong ball and Ducie spent all her holidays chasing that ball. Muriel gave her a good grooming and lots of attention and she was very happy and chatty. She’s looking forward to her next stay and I’m looking forward to seeing lots more of Muriel, Ted and Dougal for years to come! Paula.
The first time we left our precious HD in Cuddles was an anxious time, as he had been a very sick stray we homed, and I wasn’t sure how he would settle in. I need not have worried. Muriel took fantastic care of him, and in fact, spoiled him just a bit! He has been to Cuddles quite a bit now, and is perfectly minded every time. In fact, because he is an indoor cat, Muriel often places him in the nearest run so he has optimum contact from her. One of the best things about Cuddles, is not the turkey at Christmas, or the presents, or the hundreds of free cuddles, but the fact that Muriel keeps us updated by text or email as to how he is. Even small things ie, “I’ve just had a lovely chicken dinner and am going for a snooze now” this sort of text eases my mind so much! I wouldn’t bring HD to any other cattery, sorry hotel, now! Well done Cuddles!!! Emer.
Lulu spent an enjoyable week at Cuddles and was very well-cared for by Muriel in her corner suite. She had never been away from home in her 10 years so I was delighted that she settled in. She will be back at Cuddles soon with her two buddies. Thanks Muriel – miaow! Francis K.
Cuddles is just brilliant! Georgie and Gizmo spent two weeks with Muriel while I was away getting married. I had regular updates and when I got home I thought that they would be dying to see me but they were too in love with Muriel to care. You can really tell from an animal how they have been treated when you pick them up and judging by my two they were treated like royalty. Cuddles is a beautiful home from home and Georgie, Giz and myself highly recommend Cuddles cat hotel. Gill.
Hi Muriel & ‘gang’, Tobias Blue here (Toby to my friends!). Just thought I’d let you and your website readers know how grateful and satisfied I (and my ‘owners’ Pamela & Keith) are with Cuddles Cattery. It is certainly 5 Star accommodation and service – I should know as I always expect the best! Although my ‘owners’ say that it is also very reasonably priced for the attention that I receive! Muriel is well aware of my personal requirements as I let her know ‘vocally’, when she passes to ‘other cats’, that I would like my ears rubbed – coat groomed or the occasional extra ‘tit-bit’ to supplement my diet! She has re-named me “His Vocal Highness”! I don’t really mind because she is good and kind to me and all the ‘other cats’ whilst they are in her care. Nice Lady! She even stocks a vast range of branded cat foods to cater for all our requirements – how clever! The accommodation is designed for we ‘Felines’ – snug private area with litter tray, food bowl (which is nearly always empty in my case – well one has to look after one’s figure!), water and any toys, scratch poles or mats that may make it a ‘home-from-home’! You can have your own ‘bed or box’ on the convenient shelf (which allows one to watch the ‘wild life’ outside whilst listening to the radio!) Oh, and did I mention that there is an excellent (safety) wall heater positioned right next to where my back goes – very sensible! Yes Tobias Blue and my ‘owners’ would certainly recommend Cuddles Cattery for any ‘Feline’ who requires a bit of RR&P! (rest, relaxation & pampering)! Keep up the good work Muriel. Oh, and please reserve my ‘suite’ for late March as requested earlier! Bye for now – love Tobias Blue XX
Cuddles Cattery is a home from home, my cats always enjoy their stays there and love their Auntie Muriel. Gillian.
We had a great afternoon out at Cuddles Cattery today (January 2012)!! A full tour of the beautiful state of art facilities (to be honest we were a little jealous!!) and a great chat about everything feline!! A huge thank you to Muriel for all her support selling calendars and telling people about the work we do. Also a big thank you for the generous donation of litter trays for our new cat shed!! We would recommend to everyone to consider Cuddles if they are going away…or if they would simply like to treat their cat to a break away at a 5 star cat hotel!! Galway Cat Rescue
Here’s a review in German….
All the best to you, Ted & Dougal, Nathalie and Stephan.

Cuddles Cattery and Muriel…..where do we start!!!!!
A wonderful haven for our precious felines to stay where they are cared for with such dedication, attention and tender loving care. Muriel is a dream carer and Cuddles Cattery is a dream place for our animals to stay while we are away and we are totally at ease in the knowledge that they are cared for by a real gem and that they have wonderful facilities too. We have been to Cuddles many times and return as we are so reassured that our cats are truly in great care. We would recommend Cuddles without hesitation. Many thanks Muriel for all your attention and care to Daisy, Twinks and Biscuit over the years. Best wishes, Anne and Noel, Tuam.
Hi Muriel, Happy New Year! We wanted to write to you to tell you about Lucky, how amazing he is and how happy we are that we left him there, with you. We saw that you have some testimonials section in your site, so feel free to write it there. We have a kitty (even though he is already 7 months, for us, he will be always our kitty). We found him one day around our building when he was only 2 months old. It was a cold day, he was very hungry, so we gave him some food and went to work. After coming back from work, we searched for him since it was raining and we could not imagine how he would survive. So, we found him and we took him. Since then, he is the third member of the Samp-Cobos family. We travel quite some for fun and for the work. All the previous months, some of our friends were keeping him whenever we travelled in their houses, but on Christmas, everybody goes to his-her own place. We found this marvellous cattery and after reading all the testimonials, we did not bother ourselves, we decided to book a place for him here. Although he had a great apartment (which is very clean, very warm – small private heater, divided into the sleeping and playing area), it was very hard for us to leave him there. We contacted by email everyday 2-3 days to Muriel. She was answering us very fast always and we had a lot of fun reading everything she was saying about him. He fell in love, he was trained for the cat-flap and he was doing it perfectly, he was climbing his wall, he loved the turkey he had for Christmas eve, and so on. After we were back from Christmas holidays, he is even more sweet, lovely and friendly than he was before. We are AMAZED about his behaviour with us and towards us. This is a CLEAR sign that he was very happy there, and we will take him there many other times, we are sure. Best Regards! Krystian and Yolanda.
Hi Muriel, I don’t know what you did to Tiga but he is a changed cat, he is so loving and friendly now. Just wanted to say thank you for the great care you gave him and Bug last week. Dianne.
Maria, Afonso and Matilde spent almost three weeks at Cuddles in August, as my boyfriend and I headed off to Portugal to spend some time with our relatives. I was quite anxious about leaving my cats in a cattery, as they had never been in one before. Also, I didn’t know how much time we would be apart, as our family time could extend up to a month. Muriel was extraordinary with the cats, pampering them in every way, but she was also amazing with me! The cats were treated like royalty and I got regular updates on them, either by text message or by e-mail. I am sure to recommend Cuddles Cattery to anyone who is looking for a safe and loving place to leave a cat. I know I will be booking some more holidays for my cats at Cuddles! Thanks, Muriel! Regards, Carla.
Our 2 cats, Izzy and Bitz stayed at Cuddles Cattery for 6 weeks in 2010. We’ve never seen them so relaxed away from home. We were so impressed with the comfort and high standard of care provided. Whenever we go away, we will board our cats at Cuddles. It is like a home away from home for them. Eamon and Aine, Co. Tipperary.
Coco loves staying at the cat hotel where she is not only thoroughly spoilt by Muriel but also cared for in a very practical way – from arrival (Coco does not travel well), to the challenge of giving medication and helping prevent her attack an injured foot (now completely healed!), to visits from Santa and the Christmas turkey, and sending me text messages to let me know that she is ok. And this of course means that I don’t need to worry and I return home to a cat that is happy and healthy. I could not imagine a better cattery! Best wishes, Zoe.
